    Alcohol Loading Scheduler - Peoria, IL

    This is an exempt level position

    Job Summary:

    The Distillery's Alcohol Loading Scheduler will be responsible for optimizing the use the facility's alcohol loading systems. This role is directly responsible for working with the commercial sales team, the transportation team and the production team to ensure alcohol truck, railcar and barge loading meets customer demand. This position will schedule, plan, and perform billing related to the loading of alcohol. This position will also be functional in TTB (Alcohol Tax and Trade Bureau) duties for the plant.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Plan and build a schedule for loading of beverage, industrial and fuel alcohol in trucks, railcars, and barges. In order to complete this successfully the candidate must be able to learn and demonstrate understanding of the different product specifications as well as loading options and customer transportation needs.

    • Communicate with commercial sales, production and transportation teams daily

    • Functional in TTB (Alcohol Tax and Trade Bureau) plant duties.

    • Must determine, plan, and prioritize daily priorities vital to meet and/or exceed desired goals

    • Schedule employees within department and manage timecards of employees

    • Support and align with all food safety, quality, and legal requirements

    • Accountable for continuous improvement of plant performance, safety, environmental and product quality objectives.

    • Other similar duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    • Demonstrated dedication to safety

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan priorities effectively

    • Strong communication (spoken and written) skills for coordination, training and reporting

    • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

    • Operational familiarity with corn processing, fermentation, or distilling

    • Basic computers skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office

    • Able to understand and align with plant GMP and personnel practice requirements

    • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred

    • 1-3 years' experience in related position preferred
